“Unskippable” breaks down the stereotypes and stigma associated with homelessness in Los Angeles, encouraging people to engage rather than look away.
The ad campaign, designed specifically for Google’s ad sequencing technology, features a series of videos that directly addresses audiences and drives action. The final video, a mini-documentary introduced by our hero talent Theo Germaine, is an epilogue for the viewer to witness housing insecurity in Los Angeles from a first person perspective.
The filmmaking team worked closely with community advocates and advisers for this project.
